Summer cookouts are always a fun time to get together with family and friends, so I wanted to create a graphic that encompassed the friendly and fun feeling of this kind of event. I chose to mix the warm, bright colors that bring out the feeling of summer with a clean, structured look that incorporates proper alignment and proximity in hopes for an overall aesthetically pleasing look.

I also worked to create a strong contrast in the colors and text, and to repeat these design elements throughout the graphic, tying the design together into a pleasant arrangement that draws the eye into it.
